Quooker Taps – What They Offer..

We are one of the larger suppliers and installers of Quooker taps and accessories. We have been fitting them ever since they were first introduced into the UK and we are authorised to specify, supply, install, service and repair.

The basic principle is one of providing 100 C boiling water at the point of use in a safe and efficient manner. Since they were first invented, the range now includes filtered drinking water, chilled and sparkling drinking water and a number of accessories, such as a soap dispenser, a worktop drain if you need a tap where there is no sink and a computerised extension lead which manages the electric current so that it does not overload.

Why They Differ From Other Taps

Quooker is the only European tap to provide boiling water. All of the imitations and cheaper alternatives only go as far as 98 degrees and while that may be ok for some people, and for some use, it restricts the use, and it increases the cost if the water is not actually boiling when you need it to be. Quooker’s safety record is unrivalled. Their patented vacuum tank remains cold to the touch always. The way that the spout draws air into the mix of water and steam to prevent you being burned if you accidentally pass your hand or fingers through it, is ingenious. To have the one tap at the sink provide up to 5 variants of water used to be unheard of – now it is mainstream.

Choosing Your Perfect Quooker: Style, Function, and Water Types

When choosing a Quooker, first decide on the tap style and the finish that you want. Not every style has a choice of every colour, but there is a tap to suit every need. Whether you need boiling only, or boiling and filtered drinking only, you can have a tap which will provide any combination of water (provided that you want sparkling and chilled, the sparkling does not come on its own). Once you’ve chosen the tap, decide if you need a larger tank than normal. We can assist with that and explain the differences and why you might wish to have a Combi tank.

The Cube is Quooker’s answer to provide both chilled and sparkling drinking water – from the Quooker tap. You might simply want to have a drinking water filter and that is an option, often a free one with us. We have working versions in our showrooms and you are welcome to make an appointment and come along for a demonstration and as many drinks as you wish, hot or cold. We encourage customers to bring empty containers with them so that they can take samples away if required.
